Meet Melinda

Welcome to the world of Ayurveda, I am Melinda an Ayurvedic Nutrition and Lifestyle Consultant, Ayurvedic Therapist and Tibetan Sound Massage Therapist.
I've discovered Ayurveda in 2017 while studying to become a counsellor. I had developed food intolerances (gluten and lactose) and my mind was foggy and frustrated I did not feel like myself at all. While I was looking for a solution came across Ayurvedic treatments and booked my first consultation. The gentle approach of Ayurveda healing through food, lifestyle and herbs not only changed my health but also made me leave counselling behind for this ancient science. I’ve decided to study Ayurveda at The Ayurveda Institute in London.
I’m passionate about Ayurveda as it is treating the whole person and not just the disease, it deeply cares about the delicate balance of the mind, body and spirit. We are all unique and in Ayurveda you will not find one solution fits all.
Throughout the consultations we find out about imbalances and bring balance back to body, mind and spirit.
AAPUK is a not-for-profit organisation established to raise awareness of Ayurveda for the benefit of the whole human community through public education and other mediums and is dedicated to the support and representation of Ayurvedic Professionals in the UK and abroad.
The organisation represents Ayurvedic professionals – doctors, practitioners, therapists and students – both as beneficiaries and torchbearers of Ayurveda in the West. It aims to be a community led organisation benefitting from the expertise of medical authorities and universities in the field from both sides of the world.
Ayurveda is increasingly recognised as the oldest and most intelligent system of healing known to man. AAPUK is aimed at protecting and promoting its most authentic expression in the modern world.
